I love a microfiche shout-out. But seriously, how did any young lady reporter/detective in a ’90s thriller ever solve any crime with all those people canoodling in the microfiche section?...

milk does not always do a body good.
Eating vegan for days then going crazy and eating a quart of greek yogurt at the staff brunch is in the top ten stupidest things I have ever done. I’m going to get fired for slowly dying under my desk.

meaghano: kids preview the next decade at that cross-section of adorable + tragic where you can’t go wrong. I think Jamile’s prediction is more likely to come true than Summer’s. “New flavors of pie”?? Reach for the moon, Marly!

Uh, maybe this is a very well-known blog and I just found out about it but JEEBUS. Basically, the woman who writes this had been keeping a blog about her family, etc. and then a year and a half ago was in a small plane crash and was horribly burned all over her body. I was like crying at work reading about her being in the hospital, and having to deal with facial disfigurement, skin grafts, etc....

I'm a very helpful friend.
Friend: He's apparently allergic to my bed; we have to work that out.
Me: mwuh oh. Is that because it's stuffed with squirrel fur?
Friend: and hes allergic to that.
Me: I think there was a Sex in the City episode about that.
Friend: really?
Me: no. maybe its your detergent?
Friend: no, not allergic to that
Me: hmmm. do you think its because I fart on your pillow every day when you aren't there?
